Turn On A Mobile Business Model
MOBIbucks provides a powerful way for merchants, online or retail, to target customers that typically don’t have credit cards by using custom gift cards via mobile technology.
For businesses selling to teenagers, young adults, and cash-only customers, MOBIbucks creates new opportunities to the online games and music they want, as well as other products like physical goods and services using mobile gift cards.
MOBIbucks is the easy way for cardless customers to pay. MOBIbucks is the first payment service designed to deliver electronic debit transactions and marketing to these groups.
Building Incremental Store Revenue
Traditional gift cards and prepaid cards are only good for one thing.
MOBIbucks by comparison, is a multi-purpose account, offering more flexibility to merchants than closed-loop cards, and delivering stored value in the cloud so MOBIbucks customers can patronize affiliated brands. MOBIbucks works whether marketers want to deploy their own white-label mobile payment service, or use the MOBIbucks brand. Either way, you and your customers benefit.
Turning Checkout Lines Into Fast Lanes
MOBIbucks’ payment solutions integrate quickly with your existing point-of-sales (POS) system. Using the MOBIbucks loyalty and rewards programs, merchants can start marketing to MOBIbucks customers immediately. The U.S. penetration rate of mobile phones will be 100 percent in the coming years, so your future customers will definitely have mobile phones!
How The Settlement Process Works
Setting up MOBIbucks includes exchanging secure credentials between the merchant and MOBIbucks to enable the two parties to engage in paperless transactions including settlements.
A settlement occurs when the merchant makes a sale, when a customer tops up a MOBIbucks account, and upon redemption of promotions. When settlements includes top ups, MOBIbucks subtracts the top up amount from merchant sales and reconciles the settlement positively or negatively depending on the aggregate transactions.
Straightforward electronic settlements are deposited to the merchant bank account, minus the MOBIbucks transaction fee. Electronic settlements occur daily unless a merchant schedules longer periods.
Paper settlements, for merchants not yet set up on electronic settlement, are processed in the same manner as electronic settlements except that MOBIbucks generates a report at the end of each week that is forwarded to the merchant, along with funds, by US Mail after the settlement report is generated.
