At MOBIbucks, we’ve been developing and marketing mobile payments solutions for financial institutions and merchants ever since we opened our doors.
We were the first to develop a mobile payments solution that uses only a cell phone number, eliminating the need for consumers to carry cash, cards or even the physical phone to purchase goods, redeem coupons, and receive reward incentives - and opened the floodgates to new possibilities to dramatically change the face of payments.
Founded by leading payments industry veterans and innovative entrepreneurs, we’re privately-owned and have had some $10 million invested in our company from a numerous Angels and venture capital firm Acadia Woods Partners.
We hang our company hat on our unique payment platform based on patent-pending technology that works with all mobile phones, not just a smartphone or NFC device, and allows users to carry out transactions using their phone number. With MOBIbucks, any consumer with a cell phone can have a mobile wallet. Simple and straightforward.
